Fish and Fall Are Here!
October 27, 2025Hi everyone, Capt. Brian here! A couple of cold fronts have really got the fish moving around here in West Central Florida. The big trout are starting to move into St. Joseph Sound, although they’re being a little finicky now, any day they’re gonna start chewing.
Lots of redfish around still, and a few snook are cooperating. The snook are starting to transition towards the backcountry so we are seeing them along the islands in the intercoastal and the mouths of all of the bays and residential canals. Nearshore grouper are thick as I’ve ever seen, mostly shorter than the 24” keeper size when in season, but a lot of fun to catch.
Stable weather this weekend and next will have the mackerel in a frenzy once again. The last two cold fronts pushed them offshore. But they are returning and providing lots of action! I have plenty of dates open around Thanksgiving and after. Call, text or email to book your day on the water!
I look forward to hearing from you and getting you out for a fun day of fishing! Capt. Brian.
