Fishing Report: May 2026

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give a quick report on what has been going on out here. And to announce that I recently got a new 200HP Mercury put on the boat and I’m loving it! Here’s what’s happening with fishing!
Redfishing has been really hot and the bite is good even though the water temperatures remain pretty high. Bait is very plentiful and a lot of fish have moved onto the flats, coming through the passes off of the beach. The higher tides have produced the best, as usual this time of year. Midday low tides tend to be a little difficult because the water temperatures increase so much during the peak times of the day.
We are going to be entering some cooler weather and I know my email and phone will be blowing up. The action has been good for most inshore species and I have some prime dates around good tides available.
